A submitted enquiry is not a booking
The website helps you request a quote and provide preliminary load information. A movement is booked only when Hodge Hill Transport Ltd has confirmed the price, vehicle, collection window and applicable booking terms, and you have accepted that confirmation.
Quotes and availability
Quotes may be time limited and are based on the information supplied. A priced quote may be displayed in the secure customer link. Selecting “Accept quote” records the customer’s decision, but vehicle dispatch and the booking remain subject to separate confirmation from the transport desk. Same-day and rapid-collection targets depend on a suitable vehicle, traffic, route, access and load requirements. Website capacity figures are typical guides only; the selected vehicle must be confirmed for the actual load.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate postcodes, contacts, dates, times, dimensions, weight, quantity and load descriptions.
- Disclose hazardous, regulated, temperature-controlled, abnormal, high-value or restricted goods before acceptance.
- Ensure lawful, safe and suitable access, loading, packaging, securing information and site facilities.
- Provide booking references, permits, customs or product documentation where required.
Charges and changes
Waiting time, extra stops, failed collections, redelivery, storage, tolls, ferries, timed slots, out-of-hours work, specialist equipment and changes after confirmation may affect the charge. Any known additional basis should be stated in the confirmed quote or booking terms.
New customer offer
Eligible new customers receive 10% off the eligible transport charge on their first confirmed booking, up to a maximum discount of £100. The saving is shown separately on the priced quote. It applies to the core transport charge only and does not reduce waiting time, tolls, ferries, parking, congestion or clean-air charges, customs costs, storage, permits, additional work or other third-party charges. The quote will state the applicable VAT basis; where VAT applies, it is calculated after the eligible discount.
The offer is limited to one use per customer and associated business or organisation, cannot be combined with another discount and cannot be exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively. Eligibility must be confirmed before the quote is accepted. If the booked movement changes, the saving is recalculated against the eligible transport charge. A confirmed offer shown on the accepted quote should also be shown on the final invoice. Hodge Hill Transport may amend or withdraw the offer for future enquiries, but this will not remove a discount already confirmed in an accepted quote.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms depend on the vehicle, timing and work already committed. Charges may apply after a vehicle or specialist resource has been allocated. The applicable position will be stated with the booking confirmation.
Transport partners
Where appropriate, Hodge Hill Transport may use a suitable transport partner to fulfil or support a movement. Customer information is shared only as reasonably needed for the job. Operator, equipment, insurance, route and documentation requirements are checked as applicable before acceptance.
Restricted goods
No prohibited or unlawful goods are accepted. Hazardous or regulated goods, waste, controlled substances, livestock, firearms, cash, jewellery, fine art and other high-risk goods require express written acceptance and may not be available. Never rely on the website alone as confirmation that a load is accepted.
Tracking and proof of delivery
Status updates are operational aids and may be delayed by connectivity or manual reporting. Proof-of-delivery format depends on the confirmed service. Keep customer tracking links and private operations links secure.
Liability
Liability for a booked movement is governed by the booking confirmation and any expressly incorporated transport conditions. Nothing in these website terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Website content is provided in good faith, but service details and capacity guides must be verified for each movement.
