Privacy notice.

Clear information about the personal data used to answer enquiries, arrange transport and provide customer updates.

Who controls your information

Hodge Hill Transport Ltd is the controller for personal information collected through this website and during transport enquiries and bookings. Company number 14321858. Registered office: 72 Bucklands End Lane, Birmingham, England, B34 6BP.

Privacy enquiries can be sent to hodgehilltransport@gmail.com or raised by telephone on +44 7883 109443.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, collection and delivery information, route and timing details, freight descriptions, uploaded cargo documents or images, booking references, correspondence, status records and proof of delivery. Technical security logs may also be processed by the website hosting provider.

Why we use it

Who may receive it

Details may be shared only as needed with website and form-delivery providers, professional advisers, payment or accounting providers, and suitable transport partners or service providers involved in a requested movement. They receive only the information reasonably needed for their role. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, the provider is expected to use an approved transfer mechanism and suitable safeguards. Contact us if you would like information about the relevant safeguards for a particular enquiry.

How long we keep it

Unbooked enquiry data is normally reviewed for deletion after 12 months. Booking, invoice and accounting records may be retained for up to six years after the relevant financial period or longer where a legal claim, regulator or other obligation requires it. Operational tracking and uploaded files are not kept longer than reasonably necessary for the movement, customer support and record-keeping purpose.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to certain processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent where consent is relied on. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Please contact us first if you would like us to investigate a concern.

Marketing and automated decisions

Submitting a transport enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not use this website to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects. Vehicle and price information is reviewed before a booking is confirmed.
