For suitable urgent collections, the target can be from 60 minutes. The actual window depends on the closest suitable vehicle, traffic, route, load requirements and site access, and is confirmed with your quote.
Will my urgent load travel directly?+
Select “Dedicated vehicle” in the quote for point-to-point transport without co-loading once confirmed. Part-load or shared capacity is shown as a separate service choice.
Can I add several collections or deliveries?+
Yes. Choose multiple collections, multiple deliveries, a return journey or a repeat route, then list each postcode in journey order.
What information is needed for an accurate quote?+
Provide the postcodes, ready time, load type, quantity, approximate weight, longest dimension, loading method and any access or timed-booking requirements.
What affects the transport price?+
Distance, vehicle size, load weight and dimensions, urgency, extra stops, out-of-hours timing, waiting time and equipment such as a tail-lift or crane can all affect the price.
Will I receive updates and proof of delivery?+
Collection and progress updates can be provided through your nominated contact. Select proof of delivery in the quote and the signed or photographic method available for the job will be confirmed.
Can Hodge Hill cover repeat transport work?+
Yes. The enquiry supports regular routes, repeat collections, multi-drop work and scheduled transport as well as one-off urgent jobs.
What if I do not know the right vehicle?+
Choose “Help me choose” and give the load size, weight and loading details. The transport team will recommend a suitable vehicle configuration.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?+
You receive an enquiry reference and secure tracking link. The transport team then checks the route, load, timing and suitable vehicle before confirming the quote and collection window. An enquiry is not a booking until those details are accepted and confirmed.
What insurance or transport documents apply?+
Requirements depend on the cargo, vehicle and service. Tell us the cargo value and any contract, site or compliance requirements when requesting a quote. Applicable cover and documents must be confirmed in writing before the movement is accepted, especially for high-value or specialist loads.
